Overview/Technology-
UST released a first-generation Attas shaft that should accommodate the majority of golfers. The Attas has ultra tight tolerances that are achieved through the use of low resin prepreg in the precision controlled one-off production process.
UST wanted a shaft that they could release to the common, every day golfer looking for exceptional feel, responsive tip, with a mid to high launch. The constant taper design offers improves energy release which increases ball speed and distance. Increase ball speed = Increased distance.

Summary-
The UST Mamaiya Attas shaft is or was played by the following PGA players: Justin Leonard, Hunter Mahan, Stewart Cink, Carl Petterson, Scott Verplank and Simon Dyson. Needless to say, if the shaft got the attention of at least six top players in the world, it should be on your short list to try out to see if it fits your swing and game. Please note, that the tour version have a much stiffer tip with 90 gram versions. Of course This of course is the first generation Attas, subsequent releases will be reviewed very soon, so stay tuned for that.
